Why should I request a photographer?

While we have photographers taking spec shots throughout your event when possible, you must request a photographer to guarantee photos will be taken at your court. There is no fee to make a request for individual athletes, and you are not required to make a purchase. Requests are handled in the order they are received and our schedule books quickly, so we encourage you to register your player or team early!

Will my team be photographed without a request?

We do not automatically guarantee photos of every team at an event. The duration of matches, scope of the event, and number of photographers all play a factor in our ability to take action shots on every courts. Paw Prints is happy to offer 2 request options to schedule photographers during your match: requests for individual players are free, and our 50 for $50 team photo package will include shots of your entire team.

Can I choose which day will my request will be photographed?

Unfortunately matches on champ day will not be photographed for requests. This allows us to capture requested players and teams fairly during initial matches, and focus our efforts on podium photography for champions on the last day of the event.

What is an individual action shot vs. team action shot?

Individual action shots will feature your athlete in the spotlight. Team action shots include multiple players on the team and sometimes coaches as well! Both types of action shots are captured during a match and from a courtside viewpoint. Click each tab below for more information about requesting action shots for requesting both!

How do I ensure my athlete is photographed at their event?

A request must be pre-registered for a photographer to be assigned to your athlete.

What kind of photos will be included from a request?

Individual requests will include photographs of your athlete on and off the court during a match. Shots will feature your player’s dynamic positions and reactions to the game! Our photographers know how to capture your athlete playing like the pro that they are.

Is there a cost to request a photographer?

No! Requesting a photographer for your player is 100% free. There are no fees to register, and zero obligation to purchase your photos.

How many photos of my athlete should I expect?

You will receive around 40-50 high-resolution professional photographs of your athlete. We firmly believe in offering quality over quantity, and we take pride in partnering with the best photographers.

When and how do I access my individual action shots?

Your action shots will be posted in our PhotoDay gallery shortly after your athlete has been photographed. PhotoDay allows you to view and purchase your photos in one place! All photos will be accessible for a limited time after your event.

Are there any limitations to individual requests?

Due to match scheduling, our photographers may not always arrive on time to take action shots, but we do our best not to miss peak play time. Player rotations during the game may affect our ability to capture your athlete’s best moments, but we strive to provide high-quality images from our time at your court.

What happens if my game gets rescheduled or canceled?

Please contact us as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements if there is a change in your team’s schedule.

What if a photographer cannot make it to my court?

In the highly unlikely scenario that a photographer is unable to attend one of your matches, we will contact you so there are no surprises. Because our individual requests are free, unfortunately we do not offer compensation for the missed opportunity and are not liable for unforeseen circumstances.

What kind of photos will be included in a package?

Team requests will include photographs of your team on and off the court during a match. Shots may feature huddles, warm-ups, multiple athletes in action, reactions, coaches, and fans! This package will not include individual shots of any single player.

How much does the package cost?

Team requests are available for only $50! We encourage parents to split this package to share with the team – you could pay about $5 per player for an incredible set of photos!

Do I need to pre-purchase the package?

Yes! Packages must be pre-purchased for a photographer to be assigned to your team.

How many photos of my team should I expect?

You will receive around 40-50 high-resolution professional photographs of your team. We firmly believe in offering quality over quantity, and take pride in partnering with the best photographers.

How do I get additional photos beyond the package?

At this time, additional team photos are not included or available to add to this package. However, please reach out to us for a special request or a custom photo package to meet your needs!

When and how will I receive my team package photos?

You will receive a digital link in your email to download your photos. This email will be sent shortly after your team has been photographed, and the link will be accessible for a limited time after your event.

What makes the Media Day Experience different?

We are passionate about giving your athlete a unique experience with the convenience of never leaving the event space! This custom one-on-one photo shoot in our private studio allows your player to showcase their personality. You will receive high-quality shots from a professional photographer for a fraction of the cost to book a separate session unaffiliated with your event.

How much does a Media Day session cost?

This unique photo experience is normally $300, but we are offering a discount exclusively for AAU Volleyball Classic 2025!

Do I need to book my session before the event?

Yes! Time slots are limited and are not guaranteed to still be available on the day of your event. We recommend booking early to save your spot!

Where is the Media Day Experience located?

We will be at the AAU Volleyball Classic 2025 tournament in rooms 202A and 202B of the Orange County Convention Center. Our studio can easily be found across from the West Hall entrance to the playing area.

How long will my Media Day session last?

This session is booked as a 50-minute appointment that includes check-in, prep, and photo-taking time. There will be 20 minutes of guided poses from our expert photographer to give your athlete confidence, and 5 minutes of “freestyle” photos to allow their personality to really shine!

How many Media Day photos should I expect?

You will receive around 50 high-quality professional photos of your athlete.

When and how will I receive my Media Day photos?

You will receive a digital link in your email to access and download your photos the week following your event.

What happens if I am late to my session?

Our appointments are scheduled to share this experience with as many athletes as possible. Tardiness will directly affect the amount of time your player has in front of the camera. Our guarantee of 50 photos is dependent on the photographer having the full allotted time, so please keep this in mind and arrive early to make the most of your session!
